Is sintered metal stronger?

Yes, sintered metal is indeed stronger. Through the high-temperature sintering process, metal particles “stick” together to form a tightly structured material with high mechanical strength and wear resistance, making the sintered metal stronger than the original metal particles and more adaptable to high-pressure, high-temperature, and corrosive environments.

During the sintering process, metal particles melt and combine at high temperatures, resulting in a new structure that is more compact and tough than the original metal particles. After the process is completed, a uniform and non-brittle structure is formed on  the surface of the sintered metal, which results in excellent mechanical strength and wear resistance, surpassing conventional metals.
